It is really important you take your new puppy to lots of different places for the first 6 months at least

Hi Mellodie and Len
Firstly, our Ruby is amazing! We love her so much. She gets so many cuddles from everyone she meets. She’s a true delight and brings so much joy. In just one week she has done so much and come so far. She’s had lots of play dates in our backyard with my Mum and friends and demonstrated such good manners. Her potty training is much improved. No accidents since we last spoke but she’s got very subtle cues to tell me if she does want to go to the toilet, but we’re going good all the same. She’s very good in the crate and goes to bed every night without fuss and sleeps all the way through to the morning. She lets me brush and comb her no problem. We’ll try the scissors and ear cleaning this weekend. She loves her chicken legs and tomorrow we’ll start her on mince. She likes yoghurt but not so keen on the rice and yoghurt combo. She eats about a tablespoon, and leaves the rest. Is that ok? Kitty and Ruby are making good progress. Bailey the ginger is the perfect cat. He’s so patient with her even if she forgets her manners but they are both learning. She had her first puppy class last night. All the puppies were very boisterous and many trying to dominate each other. Ruby was reserved but grew in confidence but where she shone was her interaction with the kids and adults. She visited everyone (15 people) in the group. She loved the children. She sat and let them pat and cuddle her. She was definitely the crowd favorite, not that I’m biased 🥰 Below are some photos of our much loved Ruby. I hope you and the Tegan fur family are all well. Warmest wishes and waggles Natalie, Dan, Bailey and Ruby |
