STARTING YOUR Tegans Australian Cobberdog PUPPY ADOPTION JOURNEY:-
STEP 1
When you see a Honeymoon, litter or puppy available Fill in the contact page, I need this info for postage, travel and microchip registrations. Upload your filled in puppy application if you have one..
STEP 2
I will respond and send you the general information sheet with costs according to your location and country, if you do not hear from me please
re send and check you have written your email down correctly Also check your span folder. .
This info sheet will answer most of your initial questions . [If I do not respond within a couple of hours please email or re submit the contact form or you can phone on 0413136410
STEP 3
Pay your deposit -- banking details are found on the booking form that will be emailed to you. We do not keep booking applications without payment, there are just too many so do your payment when you send in your booking/wait list request.
I will confirm receipt and welcome you to our extended family, you will then have your spot on our wait list. We do not over book so there is a good chance a puppy or two will be available once they are born, so keep watch of the puppy page if you missed out getting on the wait list.
Should you wish to pay via paypal, we can send you a pay pal invoice to pay via credit care. If you prefer direct bank please email and request bank information.

The more you can share about you and your family the better it will help us with puppy selection that will compliment your needs, lifestyle and personality, although you may love the " Look" of a particular puppy we will not promise that puppy unless we are sure it will be a good match for you.
We take family life style and puppy personality very seriously we want to be sure a care bear is the best match for you, we feel it is very important for the long term welfare of our puppies that we match a round puppy to a round family and a square puppy to a square family, visit the perfect puppy raising page. We pioneered this procedure and are very proud of the breeders of all kinds of dogs around the world who have adopted this way placing their puppies.
we make tentative decisions when they are 4-5 weeks old and final decisions when they are 6 to 7 weeks old [sometimes pending Breeder DNA test results] so please do not ask what one is yours before then.
In saying all that we consistantly breed and select for temperament and character traits [yes there is a difference] so in reality almost all our babies will match beautifully with almost any family, exceptions to this is when we are looking for a puppy to go on to be a certified or specialist assistance or therapy dog, these babies often need a little more time to match up. Being the founder of The Australian Labradoodle and co founder of the Australian Cobberdog we are in a unique position to not just know about your puppies parents, we had a personal relationship with many many generations of your puppy`s anssestry, " At the moment of birth" we held 10x great grand parents in our hands, a very special honour indeed.
STEP 5
When your baby is born and has received his/her first full health check we will email you the good news, We will give you the home time dates If these dates do not suit you please defer to another litter ,we cannot split home times or "keep" your puppy for a later pickup/delivery. If it is unavoidable for some unexpected reason a daily care charge will be applied to cover our costs including any worming that may be required.
Now is the time to study up on the training feeding shopping links and be well prepared for puppy arrival.
If we do not hear from you the day after we confirm your puppy arrival, we will go to the next family waiting.
Your final payment including transport will be due when the puppies are microchipped, We will email you the Microchip transfer form to sign and return. We will also send you the Desexing Contracts.
If the signed desex contract is not returned within 5 days Changes in travel may be nessasary causing cancelation and rebooking fees and share discounts will be lost, Alternativly the sale may be canceled and the administration costs will be deducted from your first payment and the balance refunded. So please be prompt with your paperwork.
ALL pets, therapy, assistance and support dogs must be desexed. It is our expectation that you will study all that is relevant to caring for your puppy, pet insurance, grooming costs, food costs, general costs, etc of having a dog in the family, We will cancel your puppy purchase if we receive basic questions like "what do we feed my puppy when it arrives! Administration fee and travel cancelation fee will be deducted from your refund. - Allocations of exactly who is your puppy will be when they are 6 weeks of age and have received another health exam.
- You will then receive an email with photo of your care bear and your final invoice, Desex contract and chip transfer, Sometimes allocations can take a little longer than others while we observe them closely day by day to be sure we are absolutely confident that we are selecting the best matched puppy to your own unique situation and lifestyle. Please don't try to hurry us along because these decisions are very important. A happy family means a loving forever home for each of our precious care bears,
- when puppies are 4 or 5 weeks old please order your car puppy harness if you need one, if you leave it to the last week you will may miss out.

- Your "FINAL Payment" will be direct bank payment Invoice emailed to you [if prefer a Paypal invoice please let me know if you want paypal, extra fees apply, Paypal is expensive!.]
- A day or 2 before arrival you will receive your travel Itinerary and an email with arrival instructions [welcome home email] to help settle and welcome your bundle of joy.

Please remember to be patient there is no Tegan Team! no " team" of employees, every little detail is lovingly done by us so we can get a bit behind in the office work and photos!!
